This is a movie clip from the film "Any Given Sunday" starring Al Pacino. Pacino has a very powerful voice and brings so much to this speech. It's a great motivation and what is said can be applied to anything from learning Japanese to football.

I'm going to watch it occasionally to remind myself that learning Japanese (and anything in life) is about moving one inch at a time. Sometimes looking ahead at what I have to do can be daunting. This clip reminds myself to stay focused on the six inches directly in front of me. If I take it one inch at a time I will get there.

What are your favorite motivating movie scenes?
