Life In Japan
Stumble It!

After returning from Japan 2 weeks ago I’ve not yet found the time to write an article and I was a little stuck for ideas. I also missed the second Japan Blog Matsuri! Luckily there was a gap in the Japan Blog Matsuri schedule so I decided to step up and host it this month. For more information on what exactly the Japan Blog Matsuri is check out the posts at the Japan Blog Matsuri Newsroom.

To join in write an article about anything to do with “Sport in Japan” and submit it here before midnight on Oct 25th. You could write about the Olympics, Sumo, Baseball, Soccer (It’s called Football!!), Martial Arts or crazy extreme sports. If you’re stuck for ideas, some questions you might want to ask yourself are what is your favourite sport? Which sport has the best fans? How is sport in Japan different to other countries? I don’t know much about Baseball and Martial Arts so I’d love to read more about them.

A link to your article will be published together with everyone elses here on Nihongo Notes on Oct 28th.

I look forward to reading all the posts! Hopefully you'll accept some of the less popular "sports", as I have some ideas that may go against the conventional definition of sport.
  • I usually break with convention myself, so any kind of sport will be accepted.
  • Good theme this time. I'll do my best to get something up.
  • My submission is in, buddy.
  • Cheers, good article
  • eep, I totally missed this, sorry! All well, I want to make an effort for the next topic though, and sports isn't exactly my strong point. I'm looking forward to reading everyone's entries
