JPopJapan.com launches!

The reason for the lack of posts lately is due to the launch of my new site, JPopJapan.com.

Why start another site? Well, I wanted somewhere to discuss good Japanese music. I googled and found a few sites but they were either old and unused or unfriendly and inaccessible. So I decided to start my own site. Read on…

The floating torii at Itsukushima Shrine on Miyajima Island, Hiroshima

My favourite songs are 君という花 (“Kimi to iu Hana” / “a flower named after you”) and アンダースタンド (“Andāsutando” / “Understand”). The title of the latter is amusing because, well, I don’t understand any of the lyrics yet! However I can appreciate good rock music and they are one of my top 5 favourite bands. Read on…

Firefox Fancy Numbered Tabs Extension

Just a note to let anyone visiting this site looking for information on my Firefox Fancy Numbered Tabs extension know that I have updated it for Firefox 3 and it’s awaiting moderation by the Mozilla team. Unfortunately they seem to be taking quite a while.

In the meantime you can download it here. Firefox will prompt you whether or not you wish to install software from this site.

Update 01/12/2008: I have resumed development of this addon and will take note of all your comments and reviews. Thanks for you feedback!
